Studio Art I. Fun stuff. We've studied (and by study I mean work with and create a piece of so-called "art") areas such as radial balance, 2-D perspective using a vanishing point & a horizen line, relief printing, basket weaving, and water coloring(technically, but with not a lot of actual effort involved). There've been others(studied areas I mean), but my mind doesn't desire to put THAT MUCH work into recalling said areas of study. Some of the people in this class don't have much desire to create art. To me, it seems as if it was a last resort to most of them. Sad. Yes. Seems like art in public schools these days isn't stressed as much

It's been a busy summer thus far. I'm enjoying it. =) I hope yours has been just as good. I just returned from a mission trip to Wyoming and haven't had the chance to draw much or write anything. Tsk tsk... shame on me. ;) I'm going to make a conscious effort to work on my Twilight Fan Fic, write more poetry, and definitely draw more this summer. Maybe now that school's out of the way for a bit I'll have more time. Heh...that's what I think now, but with colorguard and summer projects/vacations, it'll be a tough goal. We'll see!
